How Does it work?
Applying for our unique membership is quick and easy- apply online (under the Membership tab) or request an application to be mailed or emailed.
1. Complete the application making sure to complete all areas. Current Ferrellgas customers are not eligible
2. Pay for your membership fee (applications received without membership fee could be delayed for processing)
3. Ferrellgas will contact you to go over account and program details:
4. Earlville Buyers Group will send your paid invoice, Welcome Letter and Annual letter via contact method selected
5. Enjoy your savings!
6. Refer us to others, you receive $50.00 for every qualified referral with a qualified delivery. All members (Residential and Business) are eligible.
How can I get into the Co-op?
If you live in or have a business in Broome, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chenango, Cortland, Erie, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Niagara, Oneida, or Otsego County plus all the surrounding counties. Please note this program is for new members only (current Ferrellgas customers are not eligible). Although you can join the Co-op at any time, our membership year starts July 1st and runs through June 30th

What Benefits does the Co-op have to offer?
How long does the process take?
Upon receiving your application and membership fee, Ferrellgas will contact you to discuss account and program details. If you own your tank, a pressure test will be performed prior to first delivery. If tanks are needed, it could take 2 to 3 weeks (depending on volume) to perform site evaluation and installation.
Do I have to be present for the Site Evaluation?
Yes, Ferrellgas asks that someone over 18 be present. Ferrellgas may need to enter your home during this evaluation
What if my tanks still have propane?
During installation, please note that Ferrellgas will not pump out or transfer propane out of your previous provider’s tank(s). Once your installation date has been scheduled, you can contact your previous provider to switch accounts and coordinate tank pick up.
Can I add my 2nd home or Vacation home?
Yes, as long as the property is within our covered service area. If you are an existing customer, please contact us to properly update our records and coordinate a site evaluation with Ferrellgas.
How do I know what the price is?
Our rates are published every Monday on our Current Pricing page. You pay whatever price is published in the week you take delivery.
How about fixed pricing?
We created the Co-op to be a simple program eliminating the need to be locked in or buy large quantities of propane in advance yearly. Because we keep our propane prices consistently low, we do not offer contract rates, lock in rates or pre-buy rates with this program. We can’t always promise that we will be the lowest price around; however, we can promise that we will be consistently low with transparent pricing and no hidden fees. From time to time, other companies may offer a lower first fill price that is attractive. Although these first fill offers may be lower than our weekly published prices, we will consistently save you money over the course of the year(s).

Ferrellgas offers flexible delivery preferences. If approved for Net 30, you can also take advantage of:
The Keep Full Plan:
With Keep Full Plan, Ferrellgas estimates your usage based on their advanced computer modeling and delivers propane when their program indicates a refill is needed. As a Keep Full Customer, you will never have to call them to refill your propane tank.
Qualified Customers can experience the convenience and dependability of this plan at no additional cost.
Full Customers must be credit approved, remain current on propane payments, and your propane tank must be readily accessible to qualify for this service. Property must be owner occupied year round.
If your propane usage changes significantly, we ask that you contact your local office.
The Will Call Plan:
Will Call Plan is for members who enjoy the flexibility of scheduling their own propane tank deliveries. Will Call members gauge their tank level and call Ferrellgas to schedule a delivery. Will Call members are asked to call when your tank reaches 30% capacity. Call to schedule a delivery at least 5 business days before a refill is needed.
Emergency deliveries made after hours, on weekends or holidays, and unscheduled deliveries are subject to an additional charge.
If your propane tank is empty or service is otherwise interrupted, we are required to perform a safety leak test before placing your propane system back into service
